    The selection process for Junior Basic Teacher (JBT) in Samagra Shiksha, Chandigarh, involves several stages to ensure that the most qualified candidates are selected. Here is a detailed breakdown of each stage:

    3. Declaration of Result:

      The marks obtained by the candidates in the written test will be uploaded on the website. A merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the written test. In case two or more candidates are having the same marks in the written test, then a candidate having higher marks in Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) will rank higher in the merit. Even then if two candidates are at the same rank, the candidate older in age will rank higher in merit.


    4. Document Verification:

      Candidates will be called for scrutiny of original documents under each category will be 1.5 times (one and half times) the number of posts under each category. The candidates called for document verification must bring all original documents, including educational certificates, age proof, caste certificate (if applicable), and other relevant documents, along with a self-attested photocopy of each document. Failure to produce the required documents will lead to disqualification.


    5. Final Merit List:

      A merit list for selection will be released after checking of eligibility conditions and ICT skill training certificates. The final selection will be based on the merit list, subject to the fulfillment of all eligibility conditions.
